Edumento – Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last Updated: October 2025
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and billing adjustments are handled for purchases made for Edumento applications and services (“Service”). It forms part of our Terms of Agreement and should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1) Scope
Edumento offers a Free plan and a Premium subscription. Premium purchases may be made on our website via Paddle (our Merchant of Record) or, where applicable, via mobile app stores (Apple App Store or Google Play). Refund and cancellation processes can differ depending on where you purchased.
2) How to Request a Refund
- Web (Paddle) purchases: Email support@edumento.com with your purchase email and receipt ID, or contact Paddle directly at help@paddle.com. We’ll coordinate with Paddle to resolve your request.
- Apple In-App Purchases: Apple manages refunds directly. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com using the Apple ID used for purchase.
- Google Play purchases: Google manages refunds directly. See Google Play refunds and follow the on-screen steps.
3) Eligibility for Refunds (Web via Paddle)
For purchases made on edumento.com through Paddle:
- First-time purchase: We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee from the purchase date if the product does not meet your expectations.
- Renewals: If a renewal was charged and you intended to cancel, contact us within 7 days of the renewal date. If there has been no significant account usage after the renewal, we can arrange a refund at our discretion.
- Duplicate charges / accidental multiple purchases: Fully refundable upon verification.
- Unauthorized transactions: We’ll work with Paddle to investigate. If confirmed unauthorized, we’ll refund in full.
- Technical issues: If you experience a technical problem that prevents use and our support team cannot resolve it, we will refund your latest charge.
Note for EU/UK customers: Digital content may be exempt from statutory “cooling-off” rights once access begins. Our 14-day guarantee is provided in addition to your statutory rights where applicable.
4) Non-Refundable Cases
- Requests made long after the charge (beyond the windows above) without extraordinary circumstances.
- Accounts with significant usage after the charge (e.g., extensive lesson consumption) indicating the service was materially used.
- Previously refunded billing periods or repeated refund requests indicating abuse.
- Third-party gift cards, promotional credits, or bundles from resellers (subject to their policies).
5) Cancellations
- Web (Paddle) subscriptions: You can cancel anytime via the “Manage Billing” link in your receipt emails or by contacting support@edumento.com. Cancellation stops future charges, and access continues until the current period ends.
